Kate Stimson
Kate grew up in the church supporting friends serving with Josiah Venture. She has always had a passion for mission work and sharing the truth of God through writing stories. While pursuing a degree in Journalism, God reminded Kate of her time praying for her friends serving with Josiah Venture. He brought to mind her experiences of short-term mission trips growing up. She wondered if she could use her journalism skills to help share the gospel among the nations. Immediately, God opened that door for her. Her love for the youth in Europe has continued to grow over the past year, only making God's path all the more clear.
She is excited to start serving as a content writer for Josiah Venture’s International team based in the Czech Republic. Kate anticipates moving to the Czech Republic in the fall of 2026 or spring of 2027.
She currently serves in the youth group and Sunday School at her sending church in the US where she will live during her time as a (missionary in training) MIT. She is ready to follow the Great Commission in this way, seeing the work of God beyond her own Jerusalem to the ends of the earth!
