Tomáš & Hanka Toušek
Tomáš Toušek is from a Christian family. He put his faith in Christ at 16 years old on a ski outreach trip in Austria through another organization. After that, he started doing ministry in his local church working with young kids. Later, he started to work with the youth group, where Hanka—who later became his wife—also served. Through a burnout experience, God laid on Tomáš’ heart the desire to support other leaders so they wouldn’t experience the same. As he searched for what was next, God led him to Josiah Venture (JV), where he saw a team of people supporting local leaders. He accepted the position of starting up JV EDGE Sports in Czech in 2019. His current role includes starting and growing the JV Edge Ultimate Frisbee league in Czech as well as leading and empowering leaders to use sports well to reach non-believing students.
