Hanka Motlochova

Hanka grew up in Baška near Frýdek - Místek, and, in 2011, she started going to the newly established Fusion in Frýdlant nad Ostravicí. Thanks to this, she invited God into her life and became part of the local church. After high school, she studied General Nursing in Olomouc. After successful state exams, she decided to spend some time in another country, praying where God could use her. An opportunity arose to serve at Ashburnham place in England as a volunteer. There, she worked in a Christian conference center that connected volunteers from all over the world. She spent three years in the community working on her relationship with God, working in a hotel in various positions, and studying. The program also included working on a local farm and gardens. In 2020, she completed an internship focused on permaculture—sustainable living, regenerative fruit and vegetable growing, and dignified animal husbandry—and then spent a year working as the assistant manager of the Kitchen Garden.

In 2022, Hanka returned to the Czech Republic and is part of the local congregation in Frýdlant nad Ostravicí, involved in working with the young generation and being part of the team. Her desire is to connect young people with nature and through this to point to the Creator.

Hanka has joined Křesťanské akademie mladých (Josiah Venture’s partner organization in the Czech Republic) as part of the preparation team for a new volunteer program. The program is being developed as a new ministry of the Křesťanské akademie mladých (KAM) and will take place at the Malenovice Conference Center. The main mission of the program is to see a shift in young people after completing the internship in spiritual and practical areas and to find direction, balance, and motivation in life.
