Brian and Aubrey have experienced God’s consistent and patient pulling of their hearts to disciple the youth of Hungary. Brian spent a year in Hungary in 2013, serving through Operation Mobilization’s baseball ministry. He then returned to the US to serve as a youth pastor for 9 years in Oregon. After they were married, Aubrey served as a youth leader for 6 years in their youth group. Since being married in 2017, Brian and Aubrey both felt a calling towards being missionaries, and during a mission trip in 2018, Aubrey fell in love with Hungary. They got connected with Josiah Venture (JV) and did a vision trip to Hungary in 2022, where they felt called to both youth ministry and serving with JV confirmed.

The Kroeker family joined the team in Hungary in November 2023. Brian serves as the camps director and Aubrey serves in HR and administration. The Kroekers are learning the Hungarian language, serve their local church youth group, and also mentor and support other youth leaders around Hungary. They enjoy getting to invite youth leaders into their home to do discipleship and leader training. Brian and Aubrey are passionate about supporting local churches and leaders. They desire to see God raise up youth into leaders of God’s movement in their churches and nation. Their children, Maverick and Laurel, attend the local Hungarian elementary school and kindergarten.
