Eric & Lindsay Meland

Eric and Lindsay have lived and served together in Budapest, Hungary since August 2018 with Josiah Venture (JV). They both first experienced Hungary through JV internships. They were excited by the openness towards the Lord of the young people that they met and felt the need for more workers to disciple them. Eric interned in Hungary for 6 months in 2012, and then moved to Veszprém, Hungary in 2014 for 3 years. Lindsay interned in the Summer of 2015, they got married in August 2017, and then moved to Hungary together in August 2018. For their first few years, they led evangelistic summer camps, summer interns, evangelistic soccer teams, and served in the youth group of their local church. In 2021, they became the leaders of the JV Hungary team. Today, they continue to serve with the youth of their local church, shepherd their team in supporting local churches in disciple-making ministry, and specifically work in the areas of training and mentorship of youth pastors and training local churches in using soccer as an evangelistic tool.
