Stacho & Debora Chlebek
Stacho and Debi were both born in the Czech Republic into Christian families from different denominations. Although they attended the same high school, they did not meet until church camp, where God brought their paths together. Before meeting, both had already committed their lives to Christ and were actively serving in their local churches. In 2017, they married, and, since then, God multiplied their passion for reaching and discipling young people.
Debi has served for several years as a christian counselor, leading the “Bible Study Date” ministry for young women and investing in discipleship through mentoring and pastoral care. Stacho serves with the SCEAV Youth Department, focusing on leadership coaching and social media. Together they have led youth groups, university ministries, young married couples, church planting in Olomouc, and mission trips to Norway and Bosnia. In 2024, they answered God’s call to help establish a new youth ministry in Havířov-Bludovice, while continuing to serve through their open home.
Debi is a qualified lawyer, who now combines part-time legal practice with ministry. Stacho studied Public Administration and has served as a missionary-pastoral worker.
They are joining Josiah Venture’s team in Czech (locally referred to as KAM) this summer because they want to equip and encourage Christian leaders, helping raise a new generation of disciples who are passionate about Christ, resilient in ministry, and supported by healthy relationships.
