Khrystyna Trush
Khrystia grew up in a traditional Greek Catholic family, learning about God from a very young age. But the real change in her heart happened when she came to her first Josiah Venture (JV) Fusion camp in 2017, where she made a decision to repent and accept Jesus as her Savior. From that moment on, she became an active participant in Fusion at her local church and later started helping with English and Fusion camps for teenagers. She was deeply inspired by the way the leaders lovingly cared for the young people during and after the camp, and that experience awakened in her a desire to serve teenagers in the same way.
Although Khrystia has always had a deep love for youth ministry, she has also been drawn to administrative responsibilities that involve working closely with people. When the war began in 2022, she started working as an HR specialist in a humanitarian organization; however, during the winter of 2025, God placed a clear calling on her heart to apply for the summer internship and devote that season to ministry with young people in Ukraine. As a result, she chose to leave her job and step out in faith to follow God’s call.
After the JV summer internship, Khrystia decided to join JV on a full-time basis. She is supporting the JV Ukraine team in administration, operations, and HR, while also serving in the Fusion ministry at her local church and discipling teenage girls one-on-one.
