Eduard & Olena Kurat

Eduard and Olena Kurat have been married for over 20 years and have 3 children. They both turned to Christ in the early 1990s and began ministering in eastern Ukraine. In 1999 they were sent as full-time missionaries to western Ukraine, where they have been ministering ever since. Eduard has been a pastor since that time, and their family has been involved in the start of several new churches. In 2008 they began partnering with Josiah Venture to do English camps every summer and youth training throughout the year. By 2010 the Kurats began a new church, Philadelphia, where they are currently ministering. The first people who came to Christ through association with Philadelphia were youth from a JV English camp! They continue to partner with JV in a variety of ways, including in the new area of healthy, reproducing churches. Eduard and Olena feel called to equipping people to launch new churches and to cultivate the health of existing churches by helping them with vision and praxis.
