Zuza Szymik
Zuza grew up in Poland. She believed in God from a very young age, but most of her life she was surrounded by people who thought God is only for Sunday mornings. She wanted to live differently. When she was 18, she attended a summer camp organized by Josiah Venture in partnership with a local church. There, for the first time, she experienced a new kind of community of believers. It transformed her life.
After graduating high school, Zuza followed her dreams and moved to the USA, and then God opened the door for her to study business and marketing in the UK. During those years, God kept nudging her heart for missions, and she volunteered to run 4 mission trips to Ukraine.
In 2019. she left her job in the corporate world and moved back to her home country to pursue the life of making disciples.
She took the role of Mission Trips Coordinator for Josiah Venture in Poland. Her vision for mission trips is an intense discipleship experience. Her heart is burning for young believers who might be in the same position she was in growing up. She wants to help them embrace the full potential of the vision God has for their lives. She longs for people to break away from religious rituals and start living the life of freedom that they can have in Jesus. Her desire is to help raise up new Josiahs who will be leaders, not of the future but leaders of today, and who will create and lead ministries that God gave them a passion for. She believes that mission trips could be a tool that will help people to recognize their own potential.
