Sarah Ward

During a semester abroad in college, Sarah was struck by the deep secularism she witnessed across Europe. Following this experience, a desire to be part of spiritual revival in Europe continued to tug at her heart. Even as she graduated and entered a job in management consulting, she held a consistent desire to support ministry in Europe. She felt that the same strategies she used at work to help businesses grow could be applied to help churches see healthy, sustainable growth. After sharing this vision with a friend, her friend introduced her to Josiah Venture. During her first discussion with JV, Sarah learned the International team was looking for someone with a business background. Despite not being able to visit the team in the Czech Republic due to the pandemic, after many conversations with JV, time in prayer, and counsel with faithful friends, she felt wholeheartedly called to join Josiah Venture and began her work with the International Team in July 2022.

As part of the International Team, Sarah works within JV's Office of Finance and Operations and serves with ministry efforts across the region.
