Spencer Tuominen
Spencer first served with Josiah Venture in 2022 as a part of a short-term team serving at a Fusion and English camp in the Czech Republic. That first trip exposed him to the bold faith of the Czech people and Josiah Venture’s mission to equip young leaders to fulfill Christ’s commission through the local church. This transformed his heart for missions and after that trip, he pursued what missionary work might look like. At the time working as a software engineer, Spencer prayed about leaving his career to serve abroad, when a connection back to Josiah Venture gave him an opportunity to use these skills to assist in the spread of the gospel in central and eastern Europe. Having taken multiple trips back to the Czech Republic, God has continued to give him a heart for people in central and eastern Europe. Spencer is raising support to move to the Czech Republic to develop software to serve, encourage, and empower the movement of God in all the countries where JV serves, while also being a part of and supporting a local church.
